CWIMA Online Power Connect Set for April 15
Nationally Known Speaker and Author, Carol McLeod, Delivers Keynote

March 23, 2021 – Dallas, TX. – Join Christian Women in Media (CWIMA) members from around the world on Thursday, April 15 at Noon CDT/1:00 p.m. EDT/10:00 a.m. PDT, as members will gather for a monthly ZOOM event to receive an inspirational message, network with others, and receive media industry tips from established professionals.

The keynote speaker for this month’s event will be Carol McLeod. McLeod is the President and C.E.O. of Carol McLeod Ministries and is the author of twelve books, including her most recent offering, Vibrant: Developing a Deep and Abiding Joy for All Seasons. Carol also hosts a podcast called, “A Jolt of Joy,” on the Charisma Podcast Network and recently premiered another podcast called “Significant Women.” In addition, McLeod is one of the most popular devotional writers for YouVersion with ten devotionals in current circulation. Her devotional, “21 Days to Beat Depression” has touched nearly one million people’s lives around the world. The talented McLeod also writes a weekly blog, “Joy for the Journey,” that was named one of the Top 50 Faith Blogs for women and pens a weekly column in “Ministry Today.”

The Professional Enrichment Speaker at this event will be Fior Hernandez. Hernández is an Emmy award winning Journalist and Video Producer. She has served various communities as a News Reporter and Anchor with Univision, CBS, Telemundo, ABC as well as independent news stations. She has also appeared as a local correspondent on a national platform for CNN, CBS and CBN. Her experience as part of production teams with other stations like Fox News Network and WNYW in New York is also an integral part of her journalism journey. As a native of Puerto Rico, Fior has had a proficient presence in both the English and Spanish language markets throughout the years.

Kezia Alford will lead the worship at the February Connect event. Alford is an award-winning international Recording Artist/Singer/Songwriter who signed with MC1/Copper Lily Records and Sony Music. She is also a Psalmist and a Prophetic Worshiper who founded the P31 “Power in Purpose Women’s Conference.” In addition, Kezia is an author at both Thomas Nelson and Harper Collins Publishing and is a Co-Leader at RMI Church in Atlanta.
