Be Equipped with Like-Minded Media Professionals on Zoom, June 17th
June 1, 2021 – Dallas, TX. – Join Christian Women in Media (CWIMA) members from around the world on Thursday, June 17th at Noon CDT/1:00 p.m. EDT/10:00 a.m. PDT, as members will gather for a monthly ZOOM event to receive an inspirational message, network with others, and receive media industry tips from established professionals.
The inspirational speaker for this month’s event will be Dayna Lovelady. Dayna’s topic is: “For Such a Time as This: Anointing & Strategy for a Media Calling.” Dayna is a minister, writer, Biblical scholar, prayer intercessor, digital communications expert, designer, and musician. She works full-time at The Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN) as a Digital Communications Specialist, where she leads the company’s internal digital communication and collaboration transformation. She often speaks at corporate and church communication conferences, sharing digital media communication strategies in venues such as the National Religious Broadcasters Convention.
Dayna also writes devotionals and faith based pieces for publications such as CBN.com, Nashville Christian Family Magazine, and Passages Israel. As an ordained minister, Dayna has ministered the gospel of Jesus Christ on the streets, in jails, schools, churches, shelters, businesses, conferences, and other places throughout the U.S. and globally. She has made appearances on shows such as the 700 Club, Good Life Hawaii, and the New England TV Network.
Dayna earned a Masters of Divinity from Regent University and a Masters of Business Administration from Tennessee State University.
Carole Brewer will lead the worship at the June Connect event. Carole is an author, singer-songwriter, and the host of Bible Chicks, an upbeat podcast for women. Carole has a B.A in Music, an M.A in Education, and for three decades, has been sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through speaking and singing. When Christian television was active in Northern California, Carole sang monthly on three different stations. Her vocal versatility and songwriting are represented in her four solo CDs and more of Carole’s creativity has been expressed in her two books; Cookin’ Up a Song, a self-help voice manual for singers, and Revitalize, a six-week devotional for women.
