March 6, 2018  – Dallas, TX – On Thursday, March 15, 2018, the Christian Women in Media Association (CWIMA) will host seven inspiring regional connection events across the country in Dallas, New York City, Nashville, Hollywood, Minneapolis, Baton Rouge and overseas in London. Each event will feature a keynote speaker as well as a media seminar.

The purpose of CWIMA is to advance professional Christian women in TV, radio, internet, film, publishing, music, the arts, and entertainment. The organization uses the regional connections as a way to provide opportunities for industry networking, professional equipping, and spiritual refreshment. “It is our great honor to present CWIMA regional connections across the country and now, in other parts of the world. It is CWIMA’s desire to equip women to be more effective in their media platforms, as well as to connect media professionals,” said CWIMA Founder, Suellen Roberts.

The West Coast/Hollywood CWIMA Regional Connection’s home is at the CBS Studios in Studio City, California on 4024 Radford Avenue, 91064. Networking begins at 5:30 p.m. with the program getting underway at 6:30 p.m. The keynote speaker is Singer, Entertainer and Ministry Leader, Brenda Crouch. With a powerful testimony of healing and restoration, Brenda and her husband, American Christian Broadcaster and Film Producer, Paul Crouch Jr. are TV Co-Hosts. Brenda is currently working on her first book about overcoming identity assault and restored authority through Jesus Christ. Standup Comedian, Actress and Author, Kerri Pomarolli will lead the Media Seminar. Pomarolli has appeared in over 75 stage productions from Off Broadway to London. She has also played recurring roles on “Port Charles,” “The Young and the Restless” and “General Hospital.” Marion Pyle spearheads the West Coast/Hollywood Regional Connection as Regional Director. Pyle is a TV/Film Media Producer, Director and Author.

The Southwest/Dallas CWIMA Regional Connection begins at 6:00 p.m. with a prayer gathering at Noah’s Event Venue, 6101 Campus Circle Drive East in Irving, Texas. At 6:30 p.m., Publishing Executive, and Award-Winning Author, Mary Hollingsworth, will present an engaging Media Seminar. Hollingsworth’s one hundred plus books have appeared on best-seller lists over one hundred times. She serves as President of Creative Enterprises Studio, hosting many of Christian publishing’s top editorial and marketing freelancers. At 7:15 p.m., Kimberly Oliver will deliver the keynote address. Oliver is a writer, speaker, and has been in ministry for over twenty years. Her life commitment is to love the lost back to Jesus. Kelly Parrish will provide inspirational music at the Southwest Regional. Parrish has released two powerful worship albums, Gold and Drenched. Executive Producer, TV Host and Author, Tracey Mitchell, leads the Southwest/Dallas Regional.

 

 

The Northeast/New York City CWIMA Regional Connection opens up with a “Meet and Greet” at 6:30 p.m. at the Trinity Broadcasting Network Ballroom, located at 111 East 15th Street, New York, NY 10003. At 7:00 p.m., Author, Speaker, and Celebrity Makeup Artist, Jacqui Phillips, will provide the Media Seminar. Jacqui’s new book and radio show RESET inspires others to aspire to be their best selves. Following the Media Seminar, Award-Winning author, International Radio Show Host, and former national Television Sports Reporter, Lisa Burkhardt Worley, will present the keynote address. Burkhardt-Worley, who spent several years on television in New York City, is the author of six books and hosts the program A Time to Dream, a program that features powerful life-changing testimonies. Producer, TV Host and Speaker, Chris Luppo is the Northeast/New York City Regional Director.

The Southeast/Nashville CWIMA Regional Connection meets at The Grove, 274 Mallory Station, Franklin, Tennessee, 37067. The event begins with a time of networking at 6:00 p.m., followed by the program. Author, speaker, Talk Show Host and Real Estate Coach, Michelle Moore, is providing the Media Seminar, while the keynote is Jayme Hull. Hull is an author and speaker who motivates audiences to invest in mentoring. Her book, published by Moody Publishers, is titled Face to Face: Discover How Mentoring Can Change Your Life. She has appeared on TV and Radio in her mission to intentionally develop a mentoring movement. Author and Speaker, Sue McGray oversees the Southwest Regional Connection.

 

 

 

The Midwest/Minneapolis CWIMA Regional Connection gathers at the Youderian Missional Center in Nazareth Hall at the University of Northwestern. The address is 3003 Snelling Avenue North, Roseville, Minnesota, 55113. The program starts at 6:00 p.m. with a Media Seminar presented by Morgan Wood, Founder of Amen: The Prayer App. Following Wood’s presentation, Bible teacher, speaker and author, Vicki Teade, will present the keynote address. Teade is the author of several books including Parenting on Your Knees and Healing Your Wounded Heart. Singer and songwriter, Larissa Lundstrom will be the featured vocal artist. The Midwest/Minneapolis CWIMA Regional Connection is led by author and blogger, Gaye Lindfors.

 

 

 

 

The Gulf Coast/Baton Rouge CWIMA Regional Connection is slated from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. at Sno’s Seafood and Steakhouse, 13131 Airline Highway, Gonzales, Lousiana, 70737. This month’s keynote speaker is speaker and recording artist, Bethany Bilbo Rasmussen. Bethany’s first solo album was released at age fifteen. She has been a featured solo artist on various music projects as well as traveling with Kim Clement Ministries, singing on her worship team. In 2014, she released her new singles on iTunes, “Lost in You,” as well as two additional original songs. Social Media and Blogging Expert, Rhonda Brown Anzivino will provide the Media Seminar. Recording Artist, Author and Media Personality, Beverly Bilbo is the Gulf Coast/Baton Rouge Regional Director.

 

 

 

The London CWIMA Connection will also be meeting on March 14 in a private room on the 15th floor of the St. Georges Hotel from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Filmmaker and storyteller, Shan Stephens is the London Director. Silvano Griffith-Francis is the keynote speaker. Marina McLean is the CWIMA International Director.
