August 3, 2021 – Dallas, TX.Join Christian Women in Media (CWIMA) members from around the world on Thursday, August 19th at Noon CDT/1:00 p.m. EDT/10:00 a.m. PDT, as members will gather for a monthly CWIMA Connect event on Zoom to receive an inspirational message, network with others, and receive media industry tips from established professionals.

The inspirational speaker for this month’s event will be Deirdre Reilly. Reilly’s message is: “How We Sound to Unbelievers: Words and Actions and their Tremendous Impact.” Reilly is a new member of CWIMA, and has worked as a senior writer and editor in digital media, including her work as a senior Faith editor for LifeZette, a website co-founded by media pundit Laura Ingraham. Deirdre has hosted a major-market radio show, written a nationally syndicated newspaper column, and her work has been carried by the Boston Herald, Dallas Morning News, and other publications. Today she is a regular contributor for Crosswalk.com, and is the author of the new book The Pretend Christian: Traveling Beyond Denomination to the True Jesus.

The Professional Enrichment presenter is Terri Podlenksi. Podlenski will speak on “Positioning and Marketing Messages.” She is a Brand Architect & Impact Strategist who helps businesses and ministries grow through smart brand positioning, messaging, marketing and design. Trusted by multiple national brands for 14 years, Terri is also on a mission to cultivate entrepreneurial success stories for God’s glory—where Christians show up with excellence, stand out in the marketplace, prosper in their profession and live out their God-given purpose and potential through the work they do. She currently serves on the board of Mary James Ministries, and leads Next Level Kingdom Builders Mastermind for purpose-driven women. Terri lives in San Diego, California with her husband and teenaged daughter. Note: Terri is asking that attendees send their website addresses to her for review and she will talk about ways to improve sites on this Zoom Connect Event.
