January 31, 2019 – Dallas, TX – The Global Media Summit (GMS), now in its fourth year, has announced its dates and venue for 2019. The worldwide event will be held June 28-29, 2019 at the Dallas Baptist University Hurst Campus, 110 Grapevine Highway in Hurst, Texas. This year’s summit will feature two General Sessions and six educational Media Seminars, spread out over the two-day event. GMS 2019 gives men and women the opportunity to be inspired by talented musical artists and keynote speakers who are globally recognized for biblically based teaching. The outstanding seminar faculty will equip each attendee to go to the next level in media and the international program will provide a vision of what God is doing globally.

In addition, there is an optional Social Media Intensive Boot Camp Friday afternoon and the prestigious Platinum Awards Gala on Saturday night. The ticket for the gala includes dinner and the Platinum Awards Ceremony where media professionals, who have made a significant contribution in their fields, are honored.

“We are elated to be hosting the Global Media Summit again this year,” said Suellen Roberts, founder of the summit. “We have seen incredible life-long relationships formed through the summit and find that it is an impactful time of equipping attendees so they can be a positive influence in our culture through media, domestically and internationally.”

In the past, the Global Media Summit has included mainline speakers like Brooklyn Tabernacle pastor and author, Jim Cymbala, movie producer, Phil Cooke, author and teacher, Kay Arthur and Women of Faith veteran and speaker, Thelma Wells.
