On the main stage will be Jennifer Kennedy Dean, the Executive Director of “The Praying Life Foundation.” Dean is a best-selling author of numerous books, studies and magazine articles that specialize in prayer and spiritual growth. Her book Heart’s Cry has been named the National Day of Prayer’s recommended resource. Her best-selling Bible study, Live a Praying Life® has been called a flagship work on prayer and the anniversary edition was a finalist for the Retailer’s Choice Award. Widely recognized as an unusually gifted communicator of the deep truths of God’s word, Jennifer speaks all over the world, calling God’s people to discover the difference between “a prayer life” and “a praying life.” Jennifer is a member of National Prayer Committee and serves as an advisor and board member for numerous ministries.

Joining Jennifer Kennedy Dean as a GMS keynote speaker is Brad Bright. Bright serves as President and CEO of Bright Media foundation, an affiliate of Campus Crusade for Christ (now known as Cru in the United States). Bright is the youngest son of Bill and Vonette Bright, the founders of Campus Crusade for Christ and is the author of GOD is the Issue, a book to help Christians move from defense to offense, co-opting the cultural dialogue by making GOD the issue in shrewd and relevant ways. He demonstrates how in any given situation we can either “Rollover, React or Reframe.” In 2016, he co-authored Your 7 Duties As A Christian Citizen, a booklet to help Christians more effectively influence American culture. He recently re-edited his father’s classic book, God, Discover His Character, for a new generation. It will be released in June 2019 under the new title, God, Who Are You Anyway?. The central question of the book reveals the underlying angst of our times, “Do your experiences shape how you see God, or does your view of God shape how you see your experiences?”

Also on the main stage at the 2019 Global Media Summit is GMS founder, Suellen Roberts, who will provide an inspirational message. “This year’s program and speakers will be phenomenal,” said Roberts. “Media professionals will not want to miss out on the training, spiritual and educational growth they will receive, only at the GMS Summit.”
