August 6, 2020 – Dallas, TX. – Join Christian Women in Media (CWIMA) members from around the world on Thursday, August 13 at Noon CDT, as members will gather for a monthly CWIMA Connect “Power Lunch” to receive an inspirational message, network with others, and receive media industry tips from established professionals. The event will be held on Zoom.

Kim Crabill

The keynote speaker for this month’s event will be television host, author and ministry founder, Kim Crabill. She will be sharing a message based on 1 Peter 5:6-11 called “Media—Madness or Steadfastness?” Crabill is the founder and director of Roses and Rainbows Ministries, Inc. She is also the author of eight books and booklets, including her Christian Literary Award-winning signature work, Burdens to Blessings: Discovering the Power of Your Story, and her most recent release, winner of a Global Media Summit 2020 Christian Literary Award, Infinitely More. Kim also hosts a radio talk show called Influence and the COFFEE with Kim TV talk show and her teachings are featured on the TV program, Burdens to Blessings with Kim Crabill, both carried on NRB TV, Inspiration TV and Parables, along with other major faith-based networks. Kim serves on the board of Christian Women in Media Association and was named “Outstanding Leader in Media” for 2018 and 2019.

Terri Podlenski

Also presenting will be Marketing expert, Terri Podlenski, who will be speaking on the topic, “Branding for Impact.” Podlenski, M.A., is a Brand Impact Strategist where business strategy meets messaging and design. Through her unique, faith-based program, Get Noticed by Design…Not by Chance™, she helps entrepreneurs get packaged, positioned, and ready to market with confidence so they can build a business or ministry they love that makes a difference, makes money and magnifies God. Terri serves on nonprofit boards as President of Professional Christian Women’s Connection, Advisor to Mary James Ministries and is also co-founding a new ministry with Mary James called InPowered Women.

 

Renee Rollins

Leading the worship for the luncheon will be Christian recording artist and songwriter, Renee Rollins. Rollins has performed on the Dove Awards New Artist showcase, at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and was invited to Budapest Hungry where she led worship for the Greater Europe Missions Conference. Renee’s original Christian jazz songs have received airplay on KCBI radio in Dallas/Fort Worth, along with KIHL Hilo, Hawaii her home state. She is currently finishing “His Eye Is On The Sparrow” a collection of jazz hymn arrangements.  The project will be released on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and numerous other platforms on August 31st of this year. Rollins will then release a Christmas collection later this year. Renee is the Worship Pastor at Connell Baptist Church and also serves as Worship Leader for the Shabbat prayer services at Gateway Church. In addition, she is a volunteer chat coach for “Search for Jesus,” a Billy Graham Evangelistic effort to reach those who are lost through internet evangelism.
