Jennifer Strickland Will Provide Professional Enrichment

August 1, 2022 – Dallas, TX. – Christian Women in Media (CWIMA) members will get together for another inspiring and equipping meeting on Zoom Thursday, August 18, 2022 for the CWIMA monthly Connect Event. The event will take place at Noon CST/10:00 a.m. PST/1:00 p.m. EST/7:00 p.m. GMT.

Tina Wanamaker has been married to her husband, Owen, for twenty-two years. They have four children and make their home in Selah, WA, where they raise children and chickens on their five-acre hobby farm. Tina has written women’s Bible studies, devotions, books, and newsletter articles with God at the center. Her passion is practical application of God’s Word to hearts and lives. She is a gifted teacher and enjoys bringing the Bible to life as she shares personal examples. Tina homeschools her children, speaks at ladies’ events, ministers in the jail as a chaplain, serves as an international women’s ministry leader, hosts a local connect meeting for CWIMA, and partners with her husband in ministering in the local community. In addition, they manage That I May Know Him Ministries, which utilizes media in various forms to share the gospel and equip believers to practically walk out their faith. The Professional Enrichment Message will be presented by Jennifer Strickland. Jennifer is a former international model, TEDx speaker, author, wife, mother of three, inspirational speaker and the founder of a non-profit called U R More, that helps women and girls discover their value, identity, and purpose. Jennifer also leads a writing community called “Let’s Write,” where she assists women in pursuing their writing and speaking dreams. In her earlier days, Strickland was a professional model who appeared in Vogue and Glamour and walked the runways in Europe. But since leaving the modeling industry, Jennifer has written seven books and studies teaching women and girls their true worth, including Girl Perfect, More Beautiful Than You Know, Beautiful Lies, and 21 Myths (Even Good) Girls Believe About Sex. The Worship Artist for the August Connect is Mary James. James has won numerous awards for her music. She has been named the Inspirational Country Music Awards “Female Vocalist of the Year” four different times and in 2016 she won the Inspirational Country Music Awards Video of the year.
