This Refund Policy explains how Joy TV International, DBA Christian Woman in Media Association (CWIMA), handles the refunds of Donations, Memberships, andEvent Registrations. We are thankful for all donations, memberships, andother financial support of our organization. Refunds are only granted inexceptional circumstances, within 30 days of the donation date, and arereturned using the original method of payment. A request for a refund must becompleted in writing. A refund could be executed within 30 days from thereceipt of the written request.
REFUND POLICY
Some circumstances in whichrefunds might be granted through this Refund Policy include:
● The donation was made inerror, had an incorrect amount, or the selected charity, CWIMA, was not thatintended by the donor.
● The donation was notauthorized by the donor.
● The donor’s circumstanceshave changed materially, for instance if the donation was made from theproceeds of a sale that was later canceled or refunded.
RECURRING DONATION REFUNDS
Donors have the option to give recurring or one-time donations. We are only able to refund donations from the 30 days before the date of the refund request. See Refund Policy above.
MEMBERSHIPS
Memberships are tax-deductible tothe full extent allowed by law. Memberships help pay for operational andservice expenses and may be refunded per the Refund Policy above. If a writtenrequest for a CWIMA Membership refund is authorized by CWIMA management, it maybe limited in amount. For instance, a full year membership paid in quarterly ormonthly payments, may be limited to the last quarterly or monthly payment. Alldetails of the circumstances causing the request will be taken into account anda refund may be authorized in that uniquely specific situation.
EVENT REGISTRATION
Event Registration refunds are not normally made. When an Event Registration is paid it is used immediately for providing reservations of space, meals, and event hosting expenses. In rare cases we may honor a refund request made 1-2 days after registration and 48 hours before the Event. See the Refund Policy above. Requesting a refund afteran event is not possible, because it was used to cover the expenses of yourregistered attendance.
CHARITABLE TAX STATUS
If the donor has filed a taxreturn claiming a charitable deduction for the refunded amount, the donor isresponsible for contacting their tax advisor to determine if their tax returnneeds to be amended.
