Many Americans feel that it’s becoming harder to live an outwardly Christian life today, especially in the face of an increasingly secular (and in-your-face) media. In a 2014 report from Pew Research, 34% of evangelical Christians said it had become more difficult to be a member of their religion in recent years. At the same time, roughly the same amount of religious “nones” said it was becoming easier.
Even so, the U.S. remains a Christian country. Even in 2016, the U.S. is a majority-Christian nation, with seven-in-ten of us identifying as Christians. In fact, our country is home to more Christians than any other nation on earth! Worldwide, just 32% of global citizens are Christian, which means we still have a lot of work to do.
And to borrow a line from the secular media, “our work is never over.” To continue spreading the Word, we have to be “harder, better, faster, stronger.” To help accomplish that mission, the Christian Women in Media Association has compiled a deep bench of professional Christian women who are ready, willing and able to speak on a variety of important topics.
The Christian Speakers Bureau includes nearly 100 inspiring Christian women speakers, available to speak at schools, churches, and Christian conferences for women, men, and everyone else. CWIMA doesn’t collect any booking fees, but instead takes pride in helping connect the best Christian women speakers with audiences around the country. So if you’re planning an upcoming event or are looking for Christian speakers for your organization, we’re positive we can refer you to fantastic speakers located from coast to coast.
