Missy Maxwell Worton, is a multi-award winning, best-selling author of her debut book, Don’t Mess With This Mama, a true story of rescuing her six-year-old adopted daughter from slavery.
She is a speaker and coach. As an author, she writes across various media platforms, including film, television and multiple magazines. Missy’s greatest desire is to awaken women to the superpower they have within them as a daughter of a mighty and loving God. She encourages them to fearlessly and courageously pursue the greatness and dreams they were created for by fulfilling their unique destiny calling.
She started her company, The Warrior Writers to inspire, encourage and help first time authors write and release their book for Kingdom Impact, launching them into a fulfilling career sharing their personal testimonies. She believes that healed authors write books that bring healing and hope to the reader who’s struggling in the same areas of pain and hardship.
Missy is a former actress, singer, and dancer in a nationally faith-based Broadway-style musical company dealing with family and faith issues.
She is an advocate for the orphan, the unborn, enslaved, and trafficked.
She is a devoted wife and deeply invested in the lives of her four children and granddaughter.
She loves being a soccer mom and playing board games with her family, as well as exercising with her dog.
