Shan Stephens

Shan Stephens is a Film maker and Storyteller, her career includes working in mainstream media, and in Christian mission.  As a director she specialises in docu dramas and film advocacy. Her work has included films on behalf of a number of causes; eco tourism, child abuse, infanticide, arts for the disabled, the homeless and a nine part series of docu drama’s on people’s unique healing encounters with Jesus. As a storyteller she has performed at St Paul’s Cathedral, various festivals and venues. She believes the oral tradition is the Queen of the Arts and fundamental to how our imagination works.  As a story coach she loves to encourages others to draw deeply from this art form. Shan has a pioneering spirit and has been founding member of Biblical storytelling charity and the first access local tv channel in London. She has been a long term member of the ACG, a group that supports  Christians working professionally in the arts.
