Biography
An anointed intercessor, Sandra Pate, co-hosts a weekly national prayer call, and ministers during the noonday prayer and Sunday service at her church. She is on the CWIMA Executive Board and serves as the Prayer Director of the Thursday Members Prayer Call.
Highlights of her life include fashion modelling in New York, Europe, and New Zealand; working on hundreds of episodes of prime-time programming for Fox Broadcasting Company in Los Angeles; and serving full-time in ministry for twenty four years alongside of her husband, Bishop Dwight Pate, the Founder and Senior Pastor of Church Point Ministries in Baton Rouge.
Having just acquired a 4-acre campus in the inner city, their vision is to use the arts and media to build a training center to equip the next generation to evangelize the world with the gospel of JESUS CHRIST.
For the past year, she executive produces and hosts the weekly television show “What Matters Most with Sandra Pate” on the local Fox affiliate. She is also a contributing author to “The Invitation to Intimacy with God Devotional Book” (Thomas Nelson) and is featured in “Skin Deep: Inside the World of Black Fashion Models” (Amistad Press) and “Doing It for Ourselves: Success Stories of African American Women in Business” (Berkeley Books).
It is the spiritual gift of faith that gives her a trust and confidence in GOD that allows her to live boldly for HIM to both encourage and build up HIS church. Sandra is not surprised when prayer is answered, or miracles happen. And it is because of this gift that she has been blessed with many wonderful relationships and amazing experiences that can be used to inspire in others the type of faith that moves mountains and glorifies the LORD.
