Biography
Speaker, author, and neuropsychologist Dr. Michelle Bengtson has 20 years of professional experience in the diagnosis and treatment of medical and emotional disorders. She combines her personal experience and strong faith, to share the Hope that Prevails.
Dr. Michelle endured her share of trials— trauma and illness, losing a loved one, and the mental and spiritual darkness that accumulates with life’s storms. As she learned to trust God to carry her through the troubling times, she discovered Hope that Prevails. Her great desire is to share that treasure, to relieve the sufferings of others by showing them the hope that not only brings relief from pain and unlocks joy.
Dr. Michelle has co-authored 3 books. Her first solo project, exploring depression from a spiritual perspective, will be released by Revell Publishing in 2016. Dr. Michelle is also an experienced speaker. She has spoken to audiences of varying sizes and from multiple perspectives, including mental health groups and women’s retreats. She is also known by a large radio audience as a guest on a variety of Christian programs.
