Biography
Walking through cancer is tough. Linda knows…she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006. But through that journey God has given her a new passion for encouraging women to walk their difficult roads with faith and joy. She understands that painful circumstances can challenge one’s faith. She also knows that God is faithful, even in the midst of those challenges. Linda longed for a devotional to help her through her own cancer treatment, but never found exactly what she needed. In 2010, she wrote No Prissy Shoes: Trusting God to Walk You Through Your Cancer Journey to meet that need for other women. In 2014, she wrote a hardcover 365-day devotional called Praise on Purpose: A Year of Uplifting Words, for anyone needing encouragement for their day. Linda is a monthly inspirational columnist forSouth Carolina Woman magazine, a Bible study leader, intercessor and a lay eucharistic minister. She loves speaking to women’s groups and cancer support groups. Linda calls Pawleys Island, South Carolina home and loves living in a pink and green house with donkeys and cows as some of her neighbors.
