Biography
Katie is an author, speaker with an extensive background in broadcast news having anchored for ABC and CBS affiliates in the Midwest. She’s a former member of the NRSC; in 2003 served on a national steering committee headed by Texas Senator, Kay Bailey Hutchinson. Katie is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Atlanta, she has served in many leadership and volunteer roles. She holds a B.A. in Communication with an emphasis in broadcast journalism from Fort Hays State University. Katie and her husband have been married fifteen years and reside in Atlanta, GA. They have one daughter, and two very spoiled long coat Chihuahuas.
