Biography

Barbara Taylor Sanders, B.A. is an author, advocate and an award-winning artist.

As a member of the National League of American Pen Women, she’s involved with professional writers, artists and musicians in SW Florida.

For decades, she’s been an advocate for the poor and disadvantaged, especially single mothers struggling to better their lives.

She’s shared the speaking platform with Billy Graham, Elizabeth Dole, Coretta Scott King and Evelyn Christenson.

She’s a former television and radio producer of Christian programs promoting volunteerism. “The Laborers Are Few” is a compilation of inspirational stories by former guests serving the Lord. Foreword is by Promise Keepers, Coach Bill McCartney.

Marriage to Daryl Sanders, former Ohio State University football star and number-one draft pick for the NFL launched them into a celebrity arena with world-wide travel V.I.P style.

After moving to Columbus to open Daryl Sanders Cadillac agency, they also became active in church planting,  foreign mission trips and forming One Foundation to aid urban churches and promote racial reconciliation.

Daryl and Barbara have been guests on The 700 Club and have used their sphere of influence to advance the Kingdom of God. She writes novels, non-fiction and teaches creative writing in Cape Coral, Florida.
