The Heart of Mercy Mission (HMM) established in 2019, is a charitable division of Christian Women in Media Association. In addition to demonstrating a tangible humanitarian effort, the purpose of the Heart of Mercy Mission is to rescue, redeem and restore women through the power of Christ. God’s heart is for those who are oppressed, disadvantaged, and abused. May we reflect God’s heart by showing love and mercy to abused women globally.
Heart of Mercy Mission is a ministry to women which shows an expression of Christ’s love, mercy with a heart to help abused women globally. Our evident illustration is in rescuing women from physical and mental abuse, set them free from slavery and confinement and delivering them out of global sex trafficking. These life -threatening situations often lead to death, particularly in cultures that regard women as chattel. 
The efforts of Heart of Mercy Mission are to actively rescue women by bringing them out of the abuse and into a physical place of safety and healing. Through the power of Christ working in their lives and our helping to educate them they can become self-sustaining for life.
The word of God shows us how we are to help these women.
Proverbs 24:11-12
Rescue those who are being taken away to death, and those who are staggering to the slaughter, oh hold them back! If you say “See we did not know this, “Does he who weigh the hearts not consider it? And does He who watches over your soul not know it? And will he not repay a person according to his work?
Ephesians 1:7
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace.
Psalm 23:3
He restores my soul: He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name.
These are the realities we want these dear women to experience. There is a God given mandate for us as Christians, to rescue them from the enemy’s grip on them. Our desire is to rescue from the slaughter of their culture and religion. 
Our prayer is to give them hope they so desperately need. The women are released from the evil one as we introduce them by words and deeds to Christ, our only hope! As they are redeemed and restored and stand firm in Christ, they will be able to walk above their adverse circumstances by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I have travelled to many countries where women are treated as less than human. The atrocities that are occurring worldwide must be stopped. I have a God given passion to restore hope and freedom in Christ to women who are entrapped in their culture.
