Karin Daniel is a dynamic media professional serving as the Vice President of International Connections and Director of Dallas Connections for the Christian Women in Media Association (CWIMA). She has been a dedicated member of CWIMA since 2012, contributing to the Advisory Board since 2015 and joining the Executive Board in 2023.
Born in Scotland and raised in Norway, Karin now resides in McKinney, Texas, while maintaining a global presence in her professional endeavors. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Television Production from Oral Roberts University and a Master's in Media Management from Regent University.
An accomplished television producer, Karin has made significant strides in both the Christian media landscape and the broader television industry. She was the Television Associate Producer for the LIFE TODAY talk show with James and Betty Robison and went on to serve as the Producer & Showrunner for Scandinavia Live onKannel10—the longest-running primetime Christian talk show in Scandinavia, reaching an audience of over 250 million homes across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
As an International Account Executive for major Scandinavian TV networks, Karin played a key role in pioneering the globalization of Christian television in Scandinavia, establishing new partnerships and distributing international content. She is also the Co-Founder and President of Freesound Media LLC, where she co-produces international projects and provides consultancy services for the global media industry.
Karin’s work has garnered numerous accolades, including Regent University's Documentary ofDocumentaryof the Year award for SEMILLA,several CCM Music Video Awards, and the NRB Angel Award for People'sChoice for The Chase. Additionally, she has received the Excellence in Communications Award from CWIMA twice in recognition of her exceptional work and leadership in media.
