Susie Y. Jennings is the Founder and President of Operation Care International and the author of No, Not Me! Her faith and obedience have put her in a position to see many miracles.
Susie’s calling came during a season of brokenness following the suicide of her husband David; she asked God what she could do for Him. Susie didn’t know He would call her to serve the homeless and impoverished.
Susie didn’t like the homeless, so her initial reaction was “No, not me!” Susie grew up in the Philippines where her mom used to feed the homeless in her kitchen. The homeless ate her food and occupied her space; when she was ten, one of them slapped Susie in the face.
Susie’s faith journey began when as a grieving widow she said “Yes” with an obedient heart. She now throws the largest birthday party in the world, honoring the homeless and impoverished, celebrating Christ’s birthday! In 2020, despite the global pandemic, Susie started the ONEDAY Movement; her annual party in Dallas was replicated in 46 countries and 23 states! Against all odds, she continues to walk by faith and obedience. Susie is “America’s Unstoppable Widow,” turning her sorrows into victories.
