Biography
Rebekah Iliff is a career entrepreneur, former tech startup founder, and award-winning writer/producer based in Tennessee. Her work has been featured in publications ranging from Fast Company, Entrepreneur, and Forbes to Weekly Humorist, Slackjaw Humor, and the Erma Bombeck Blog. She released her first book and accompanying short film, Champagne for One: A Celebration of Solitude, in February 2022. The illustrated collection of satire and essays has received various accolades including “best personal development book of 2022” (Spy Magazine) and “best non-fiction humor book of 2022” (Foreword Reviews). Rebekah was also named “humor writer of the month” by the Erma Bombeck Writers Workshop and touted as “humorist to watch” by BiblioLifestyle. Her short film has captured over a dozen official selections and awards from festivals worldwide including Paris Short Film Festival’s “best producer,” and Critics Choice International Film Festival’s “best experimental film.” Rebekah is a regular contributor to Porch + Prairie magazine, where she writes about her observations and experiences living on a farm in rural Tennessee after 20 years of big city life. She is the owner of Free Dreaming Farm, her personal sanctuary where she writes, develops, and produces both client commissioned work and her own creative projects.
