Jayne Carter is an award-winning singer and songwriter. She has songs featured (one she wrote; another she recorded) in the 2023 movies Left Behind: Rise of the Anti-Christ (Kevin Sorbo) and The Hill (Dennis Quaid). “The Road Less Traveled” written by Robert Jason and Jayne Carter, is in the Left Behind movie. This song also won an International songwriting competition, the Gospel/Inspirational Category of The USA Songwriting Competition (2015-2016). As a singer, Jayne has recorded and released songs to Radio including “Why They Call it Heaven” which made #1 on Power Source Christian Country Charts; and “Dusty Road” which made #1 on the Christian Music Weekly COUNTRY Charts. Jayne has received Top 5 nominations for Inspirational Country Music Female Vocalist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, and New Artist of the Year. Throughout her life, Jayne has performed various genre’s of music. From inspirational country to gospel, pop, classical and opera.
