Biography
Janet Broling’s passion is to introduce believers to their unlimited and most powerful resource – prayer in the Name of Jesus. Her latest book, Inquiry Into Majesty, from the book of John, as well as the free audio book, free study guide and more may be found on www.janetbroling.org
At the age many people retire, God gave her a vision during prayer. In obedience, she founded and was Exec. Director of The Women’s Prayer Summit, Inc. On Oct. 4, 1997 and October 3, 1998, thousands of women gathered for prayer in The Theater at Madison Square Garden, NYC. In 2010, the original executive committee, women of varied denominations and ethnicities, hosted another WPS at the Armory, NYC. Her book, “What Can One Woman Do?” (Anything God wants to do through her) told the story. Other prayer summits in Chicago, IL, Albania and speaking in women’s meetings in Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Brazil, Bolivia and India followed.
In 1999, she co-founded global7.tv with Enkelejda Shelburne and was executive director for three years. It was acquired in 2021 by Media 7 Balkans in Albania.
Janet is currently an active member and V.P. of Media Enhancement in Christian Women in Media Assoc.
She and her husband of 66 years take great pleasure exploring the beautiful Smoky Mountains and closely sharing in the lives of their three children, spouses, thirteen grandchildren, great-grands and many wonderful friends.
