Biography
Colleen Bruce (also known as Maggie Miller) is the Author of; “Lords Hill “A Place Only God Could Save Me From” by; Maggie Miller, Foreword by; Dr. Aphrodite Matsakis. Lords Hill is a true story based on Colleen’s life and childhood growing up in a small New England Mill Town, and her journey through decades of multi-generational abuse, alcoholism, mental illness, trauma and adultery. After years of PTSD recovery work and searching for a relationship with God, in 2014 she published her memoir. She has done several local Book-Signings and Talks to include Barnes and Noble. She also writes a blog on her website.
Colleen is looking for new venues to spread the word about the fallout from extensive childhood abuse and trauma, and to shed light on where God is during these difficult and trying times. She has also published two Cookbooks; “Colleen’s New England Kitchen” first and second editions, while running her country baking business for almost 30 years. She and her husband, Michael, live in a small New England town where they raise cattle and garden. Colleen a practicing cosmetologist of 34 years owns and operates Colleen’s Hair Salon.
