CWIMA Connect Groups Gathering “In-Person” September 16
Nationwide Meetings will Inspire and Equip Media Professionals

September 7, 2021 – Dallas, TX. – Christian Women in Media (CWIMA) members will be coming together in Connect Events across the country on Thursday, September 16th where they will receive an inspirational message, network with others, and gain media industry tips from established professionals.

Six groups will be meeting this month: Dallas, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Nashville, Tennessee; Charlotte, North Carolina; Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and Little Rock, Arkansas.

The Dallas Connect is led by Tracey Mitchell. The Inspirational Speaker in Dallas is Operation Care International Founder, Susie Jennings. Susie is the author of two books, No, Not Me!, and 31 Days of Mountaintop Miracles: One Woman’s Legacy of Unconditional Obedience. Susie recently launched a podcast called By Faith that she co-hosts with former media executive, now Operation Care International Director, Mike Tirone. The Professional Enrichment Speaker will be Beth Cathey. Beth manages a digital team and has spent her entire career serving nonprofit organizations and faith-based family-friendly for profit organizations. She helped market The Passion of the Christ Movie, the Ronald Reagan documentary, In the Face of Evil and Billy Graham’s Dallas Metroplex Crusade. The Dallas Worship Leader is Jayne Carter. Jayne has received “Top Five” nominations for the Inspirational Country Music “Female Vocalist of the Year,” “Songwriter of the Year,” and “New Artist of the Year.” The Dallas Connect group meets at 11:30 a.m. at The Park City Club, 5956 Sherry Lane, Suite 1700, Dallas, Texas. Cost is $35. Registrations must be in Tuesday, September 14th by Noon.



Atlanta, overseen by Destiny Yarbrough, will feature Inspirational Speaker Kim Crabill. Kim, a television and radio host, is the founder of Roses and Rainbows Ministries, Inc. and COFFEE, (Conversations of Friends of Faith to Encourage and Equip). She is also the author of seven books, including her signature work, Burdens to Blessings: Discover the Power of Your Story. Kim will speak on “The Surprising Principle to Media Success” The Atlanta Connect will meet at 6:30 p.m. at Ted’s Montana Grill, 6100 Avalon Boulevard, in Alpharetta, Georgia.

Kandi Rose leads the Hot Springs, Arkansas Connect. This month, there are three speakers: Author, Publisher and Graphic Artist, LaDeidre Maris, Author, Speaker and Educator, Aleathia Henderson, and Author and Speaker, Lisa Long will provide a short devotion. The Hot Springs group gets together at 6:30 pm. at World Buffet, 1200 Albert Pike Road, In Hot Springs.
